As Zimbabweans in the diaspora, we found ourselves appreciating our language and cherishing culture with a desire to preserve, promote and protect it in a continually globalized world for future generations. 

We are a team of mother and her daughters showing the power of the Zimbabwean woman.

We founded Learn Shona with one goal in mind, to share the rich language, culture and heritage.

OUR MISSION

We aim to give our students the best, most rewarding learning experience.  

The goal is to spread the Shona language, heritage and culture across the world and to inspire people to appreciate native languages.

OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to provide lessons that are not only fit every skill level, age and background, but also infuse our supportive and innovative teaching approach. We aim to help you develop your reading, writing and speaking of Shona.

OUR APPROACH

Our lessons are virtual allowing you to learn from the comfort of your home.

We welcome learners at any level and all age groups*.

OUR TUTORS

Our senior teacher, Mrs Mary Bandera is a dual qualified teacher with over 20 years experience in teaching in Zimbabwe and the UK.
